 Bye bye devolution

Surprised it's not posted. Powers going to Westminster rather than Holyrood. Labour did what they do best and avoided conflict by not voting whilst the Tories did their usual by voting to look after the powers on our behalf.

Powers that Sturgeon would hand straight back to Brussels if her dream of leaving one Union to jump back into another one came to pass, which it won’t.

In the meantime she commissioned a report which advised that setting up all government depts for an Indy Scotland would be £450m, and an interviewer pointed out that the shambolic IT system for farm payments cost £178m, and the costs for setting up a new benefits agency to administer the mere 15% of the total social security coming her way has cost £200m so far. That will be another shambles in the making.

No wonder she couldn’t recall any of these figures when asked...

Labour Party cowards and traitors gutless to their core, only capable of sniping from the sideline, as confirmed above.

The social security guys have been seriously recruiting. Never offered me an interview so they're doomed to failure. 😉

Joking aside, they're screwed. Too many people focused on quick wins rather than solving the actual problem. All about getting pats on the back for delivering something, anything.

It was an absolute shambles.
Only 15 minutes to debate and all of that was taken up by the Tory Minister filibustering.
All Scottish MP's bar SNP either voted for the power grab or abstained.
Dennis Skinner and an English Lib Dem voted against, embarrassing Scottish Labour and Liberals alike.

Why do they have this antiquated system of voting which took 3 hours instead of electronically allowing more time for debate?
