Born 21st March 1959 in Inverness

Signed from Dundee for 15,000 by Jim Leishman in October 1987, Ross made a scoring debut for Dunfermline in 3-2 away defeat to Motherwell. During almost four years at East End Park he made 148 first team appearances, scoring 55 goals.

Very strong in the air, Ross was the Pars top goalscorer for three seasons on the trot, including an impressive 21 goals in 89/90. He transferred to Kilmarnock at the start of season 91/92 for 45,000.
