Lemon Aid in Haiti (updated)
By dafc.net - Sun, 24th Jan 2010

Jimmy Dowds is in Haiti with Lemon Aid to help the survivors of the earthquake. They need your help. Lemon Aid was set up by his son Justin to deliver relief in Haiti.

LemonAid was born out of a desire to see targetted support, investment and relief delivered to the desperately poor people of Lagonave, Haiti as the result of a visit to the island in January 2007.

an update form Jimy Dowds regarding the work being done in Haiti.

The club has kindly given us permission to do a collection for Haiti on Sunday at the Celtic game. Our second emergency relief team arrived in Haiti with another ton of food and medical supplies.

Charlie Seamen, Kain Ramsay, Dan Lyth and James Jarvey ( former pars youth player) will be sleeping outside in the garden in Port Au Prince as another big earthquake is expected therefore unsafe to sleep in side.

Our third team heads down in two weeks to unload a ship of supplies arriving from America. Our fourth team heads down in March with Man Utd chief project manager to begin the rebuild.

Stagecoach, Virgin Airways, Thomas Cook and many others lending their support. Steve Baldwin ( big brother ) doing a gig in Manchester Applollo tonight for us to raise funds. Scotlands hottest new up and coming band `Kidadrift` who hail from Dunfermline also are offering their services.

A big thanks to all at the club and all the fans who have been a great support to this great cause.
