Pars Want Rossi deal to end

Author: Niall Shaw Date: Thursday, 5th Sep 2002

Dunfermline are eager to sever the contract of Moroccan Youssef Rossi, who failed to return for the start of the SPL season and remained in his homeland instead.

The defender is still being paid by the club, but chairman John Yorkston has confirmed they want to end his contract but retain his registration, so they get a fee when he moves on.

An ideal scenario would be for Rossi to switch to the English First Division, where the transfer window remains open.
