CIS Cup final tickets

Date: Wednesday, 1st Mar 2006

Ticket Sales for DAFC have picked up for the CIS Cup Final on March 19th since the Pars drew at home against Dundee Utd last Saturday BUT get your order in sooner rather than later.

To date DAFC have now sold just under 10,000 tickets but fans are urged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible as the SFL have confirmed that if DAFC haven’t reached 12,000 by 9th March at the latest then their option of the further 5,000 will revert back to Celtic.

To order tickets fans can call the Ticket Office Hotline on 0871 271 4549

DAFC have also been asked by the SFL and the Hampden Authorities to remind everyone that the National Stadium at Hampden Park is a no smoking venue for all spectators and there is no smoking allowed within the Stadium building.

Fans should also be aware that there is no provision for exiting the stadium during half time for a quick cigarette. These regulations also apply to guests within the Corporate and Hospitaility Lounges, so if the game goes to extra time, you could be talking in excess of five hours without a ciggie.

So remember, if you do have to smoke, make sure you get your nicotine fix before you go into the stadium because we’d like you to watch Dunfermline Athletic picking up the cup.

The Pars fans can actually use this game as a trial run, because as of March 26th, East End Park follows suit and becomes a non-smoking venue also. Our first home game as a no go area for smokers will be against Falkirk on April 1st.
