Dundee Post Match Interviews

Author: Stuart Meldrum Date: Monday, 2nd Nov 2009

Highlights from interviews given by Jim McIntyre, Graham Bayne and Jocky Scott after the game against Dundee at East End Park.

Jim McIntyre
Jim believes that his side done enough to win the game but it was the failure to take chances that cost them two extra points. He is happy with the style of play that is being produced but its the cutting edge in front of goal that will see the team winning matches. Dundee were always going to have a say in the game but the gaffer is delighted at how the players came back from a goal down and looked the most likely to win the game. Callum Woods who left the field injured suffered from an `abductor strain`.

Graham Bayne
Bayne started this match on the bench and was distraught at watching his team mates go a goal down having been on top for most of the match. A draw was the least the home side deserved according to the striker whose second half equaliser brought the game back to 1-1. Graham was left out of the side after a long string of first team appearances but the tactical change had worked previously and the manager felt he was due a break.

Jocky Scott
Jocky is very happy that his side came away with any sort of result after recieving a battering in the first half. He was happier in the second half with both teams having chances and he has his keeper to thank with a couple of outstanding saves to keep out the Dunfermline enslaught. Following on from his teams match on Tuesday the manager admits he perhaps should have changed things a little more to keep the side fresh.
