Highlights from interviews given by FH players, Davie Hay and Derek Stillie after the 2nd Uefa game.

FH Players
The opposition stress that it is not all about being professional and living the life but that effort is all-important. They also tell us of their ordinary full time jobs and how Thursdays game was the biggest in the club history.

Baldur Bett
Praises his team for never giving up but also explains that he doesn’t think a team like Dunfermline should lose a home lead against part-time opposition.

Davie Hay
Davie believed that the one goal would see The Pars through to the next round and expresses his dismay at such a bad result. He is aware that he will be under pressure due to recent results and feels the team will have to pick themselves up to climb the table.

Derek Stillie
Derek tell us that Dunfermline should be able to beat a part time Icelandic team and is embarrassed by the clubs performance. He explains that the squads expectations for this season are disappearing fast and feels ashamed that the team were knocked out immediately after 34 years of waiting.
