Queen of the South Post Match Interviews

Highlights from interviews given by Gordon Chisholm, Jim McIntyre and David Graham after the game against Queen of the South at East End Park.

Gordon Chisholm
Chisholm believes that his team deserved the victory having played some good football throughout the match. It brings to an end an horrendous run of form for the Dumfries club but the manager maintains that with a fit squad they will challenge any team in the division. With players still out injured and the tide seemingly changing, Queen of the South are hoping to pick up a lot more points in the coming months in order to climb the table. Gordon also pays tribute to the fans who he explains have stuck with the team throughout the bad times this season.

Jim McIntyre
Jim is incredibly dissapointed with the result and feels that his side made enough chances to score but never took them. He is entirely unwilling to divulge information about what he said to the players after the match. There are players missing from the squad through injury but Jim doesn`t see that as a good enough excuse as the players coming in should have enough quality to step up and do the job. The team seemed to react very badly to losing the goals with players failing to up their game in order to try and get back into the match, this for the manager is unacceptable.

David Graham
David isn`t entirely happy with his debut for his new club and is disspointed that the team couldn`t capitalise on top club St.Johnstone dropping points. He admits that the better team won the match but that Dunfermline also had chances to score goals and perhaps salvage something from it. The midfielder is happy to be at Dunfermline and has settled in well, he also believes that there is a good squad at East End and that the results will come.
