Supporter`s Trust Meeting UpdateAuthor: Jason Barber Date: Wednesday, 6th Aug 2003
DAFC will kick the proceedings off, before handing the floor over to those supporters who are hoping to establish a new trust.
John Yorkston and Brian Robertson from the DAFC board will be in attendance, but perhaps the biggest draw of the night will be a certain Mr Jim Leishman, making his first appearance as a Pars employee for 13 years!
They will all be on hand to answer any questions about the formation of a supporter`s trust after the main event, which is a number of outline speeches by the following:
RODNEY SHEARER: Life long Pars fan who has been known to buy a programme or two in his time! Rodney is hoping to establish a Pars Supporter`s Trust with the aid of his fellow Pars fans. He is fundamental in the formation of this proposed trust and hopes other Pars fans will also see the great benefits it will bring.
Not Pars fans (so try not to hold that against them...) but willing to speak about football trusts in general, there will also be the following two speakers:
JIM PROCTOR: Support Direct and founder member of the Wee Team Trust will give the factual background to the Kirkcaldy club`s set up.
MIKE BARILE: interim chair of the Dundee United Trust will complete the speakers and he will to outline the workings of their trust.
The club directors will be available after the main speeches, to answer any questions you may have for them in Legends bar.
The event starts at 7:30pm prompt in the Main Stand at East End Park.
