 Joe v Josh
Topic Originator: wetherby

Just a heads up that BT Sport is showing AFC Fylde v Harrogate Town on Monday 27 August with a 5.30 kick off ( Bank Holiday down here)

Joe got an assist on Saturday and Town ( under Josh's captaincy) secured their first win since their promotion to the National League top flight.

Should be a good game and for those of you who haven't seen English 5th tier football it will give an indication of the level that Boreham Wood are at.

I'd imagine that with both of these guys not being deemed good enough for the pars in recent times that the standard isn't too much better or worse than the scottish championship - will probably tune in to watch as i've never watched a league game at that level before.

Harrogate have Mark Beck in their ranks, he came on as a sub on Saturday after returning from injury, he had been on trial here and scored in a friendly with Alloa early last summer (?)

Decent game , Falkingham has played a couple of decent passes. Upper (our ) League 1 - lower Championship standard?

Terrible standard. Every second touch is a tackle! Would say league 1 in Scotland based on that first half and that’s being kind

Joe off at HT due to jarring his knee, had a fairly quiet game till then. Harrogate the better team Josh playing in front of back 4 looks comfortable. Standard Scottish Div 1 at best, but a competitive watchable game none the less.

Poor standard, both playing out there careers at the level they should be. 1000 people at the game in a highly populated catchment area tells its own story.

Hopefully now idiots on here can stop looking for them back here.

Good servants but that’s it.
