I've been watching their results, they are no mugs, are they full time?

Banana skin? You make out we'd be big favourites. The National League is probably a similar standard to our Championship, with some good quality players and teams and some that aren't too good at all.

They're 1 up at half time against the mighty Braintree of Essex.

I said they would be favourites to win when the draw was made-some folk were saying that our reserves would beat them! Anyone who saw Tranmere pre-season should know we are in for a tough game. Borehamwood lost 2-1 to Tranmere in the play-off final at Wembley last season Going by the tournament odds we may start marginal favourites but I certainly wouldn't be putting any money on it.

I've been spoiled by the glory days of the past when we beat the lesser European teams in double figures.

When I lived in Essex 6 years ago Braintree were the team that got slapped each week.
Maybe changed days.

Had a pal who came from Braintree, handy for Standstead Airport, I reckon, not renowned for football though.

Borehamwood’s tall and bulky strikers will flatten our defenders next week. They’ll be looking forward to next Saturday.

Can we forget to let Durnan on the team bus and leave him in London. The pace he moves at wouldn't make it back before the end of the season.

Interesting to see if we go back to 442 and blood the two new guys. Try to get 532 right as a last shot or play the kids. Play the kids and it’s probably morally right as they earned us this draw. However is the season more important to try out something and potentially make it look worse if we fail.Damned if he does damned if he doesn’t. His coats on a shoogly peg. For the record I’m going regardless

Think the reserves play on the Monday so likely the youngsters will play in that game instead.

Dunno why anyone is taking this seriously- it's a total diddy cup. Cant believe people are actually wasting money to go and see this. It only really illustrates how far we have dropped when people are getting excited by fixtures like this. The first team would pump Boreham Wood, but the reserve side we send may return embarrassed

This game has become more important because of recent results. I don't think the reserves will go as they play on the Monday. If the new signings are eligible they will surely play. You seriously think our first team would pump them on current form and given our away form in general?

Manager post match hinted at the need to get a result, so we can expect a stronger team than earlier thoughts with a desire to stop the rot

First prices up for the game
13/10 Borehamwood
17/10 Dunfermline
13/5 The Draw

Such a difficult game to price up with no real comparison between the teams, added to that is the uncertainty of how serious both teams will take the game and the side that they actually send out.

And to think the Mighty Dunfermline Athletic were once feared across the continent

These days we are second favourites to a Non league side nobody has ever heard of
