 Williamson sub at 0-1

You're needing to score so you change formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 so you take off one of your centre backs you'd think. No you take off the attacking RB and put one of your centre backs at RB.
That reeked of take Ryan off because he'll not be petulant and give me bother like one of the 3 CB's might.

Agree mate, couldn't believe he stuck with Larry, Curly and Mo at that stage.

He must've been the only person in the ground that would've stuck with it.

Totally agree and Higgy should have started.

Williamson is horrific, he did deserve to get subbed but the biggest surprise to me is how bad Ashcroft has been. Do agree though putting Ashcroft to RB was an awful idea. Last season there was a structure in place so Ashcroft was very rarely left having use his lack of pace to cover the backline. Now we're being exposed constantly.

I would hope AJ has brought in midfielders and attackers at the end of the window to go back to 442 - where we have enough cover. But not if 352 or 532

Jeez it’s got so bad we’re crying out for higgy back! Short memories all round.

Sounds like we absolutely have to go back to a 442 and play Williamson as right bsck so long as higgy plays in front of him. Rather than just get a good right back in and not sign cart horses for central defenders.

Just sitting here drenched in my own negativity!

Ryan needs higgy - to take Ryan off when higgy's coming on beggars belief

Not the smartest of substitutions and reorganisation at the back. That's for sure.

Seemed a strange move at the time. Don't think it'll be repeated any time soon!

Ashcroft played full back often at Killie, Devine at Caley as well.

Right, do you see him as the marauding type who'll go past defenders and put the ball in the box when you're needing a goal ?

Nope. Higgy was brought on to do that, and did it well.
