does set a tone though, petulant kick outs ok, oops i've fallen leading with my elbow ok

obviously happy for it to be a contact sport. perhaps we'll see centre backs clattering forwards again (to let them know they're there!)

football's going old school!

It does appear strange that something so blatant can just be ignored when similar actions have ended with retrospective cards being awarded. However we are talking about SFA appointed referees and a club that plays home games at Ibrox so maybe nothing strange after all.
Rangers died and the Pars survived.

Naismith and Brown got away with far more a few weeks ago . Therefore the benchmark was already set for Shagger beforehand.

At least they’re consistent.

It was petulant but it is not an agressive act based on previous decisions it is the right choice at least they are being consistent

Since when was deliberatley kicking an opponent not considered an offensive or aggressive act ?

Has the SFA recently declassified it from violent conduct to a lesser offence ?

It was comparable with Morelos's petulant kick at Aberdeen which resulted in his sending off.

Morelos's red card at Pittodrie was downgraded to yellow on appeal too.

It's a disgrace Servco players get away with murder red card rescinded left right and centre. Then you have blatant mistakes by officials Dicker and Devlin get their appeals thrown out. You would think that the SFA would have learned by now they have to be transparent. Instead of the old firm loving cleek

Gerrard is turning Rangers into the 'victims' of bad refereeing decisions.

Very disappointed with his responses, blaming everone else except his players.

Gerrard is doing everything his knuckle dragging fans want to hear, surprised he didn’t mention the the Ref was catholic.
It’s crazy the self entitlement that The Rangers fans have, they still to this day think it was everyone else’s fault that they ended up in the 4th tier (don’t even mention it not being the same club 😈).
The siege mentality is a great way to keep the fans on side, Gerrard is playing the role well and with the help of the media who worship the ground he walks on I think he will last a while. Although The Rangers have to be spending way more cash than they are pulling in, so enviably this is going to be Gretna 2.

It's amusing how lots of non-OF fans are convinced the SFA are biased in the OF's favour whilst most OF fans are convinced the SFA are biased against them.

Our fans are no better when it comes to refs. Supposedly every ref in the country hates Dunfermline.

Really disappointed in Gerrard...he's let himself down, all gob when the decisions go against him and then not interested when McGregor blatantly kicks out.

Tool of a man.

No precedent will have been set. 3 individuals looked at an event and came to a decision. Any other event will be treated the same, leaves the door open to punish others as decided by a panel. Shocking decision clearly geared to keep Sevco in the hunt for success.
