Very good result for Livi, and especially pleased for Shaun Byrne and my Livi supporter friends.

Livinston 1 Rangers 0.

Top 3 places all held by "Edinburgh Clubs"

When was the last time that occurred if ever?

It's OK to have a big team as long as they play in red, Harry. 😉

Stunning achievement.........

No one wanted to manage them.
No one wanted to play for them.
Not well supported.

They are 3rd in the SPL.

I fully expect them to reach the Champs League final next season & run a minibus from Livingston!

🔩 ya 🚀

Rubbish, I work with a number of fans, all born in the early 90’s who support there local team. Two of them went to Sligo to watch the colts play in the challenge cup.
Rember West Lothian didn’t have a team until they moved there, had they gone to Glasgow to watch the bigot brothers play like the majority of West Lothian then yeah have a go at these fans. However the fans there now after 2 administrations are far from glory hunting fake fans.

Hugely impressed by Livi. They are wrongly chastised for their " direct style "of play. My way of looking at it is, they dispense with the pretentious sideways and backwards passing that comes under the banner of " keeping possession", get the ball forward quickly and play good football where it matters ie - the final third of the pitch. This was typified by their goal today which was a more incisive bit of football than Rangers ( for all their pointless possession) could muster in the entire 90 minutes. They also have a rock solid defensive foundation with the excellent Lithgow at the heart of it.

Got to be one of the best run clubs in Scotland at the moment. Fantastic campaign so far. Looks like sacking Kenny Miller was a brilliant decision after all. They were one of the best teams I’d seen at EEP last season.

Won 5 of the last 6 or something ?

Really makes you wonder what the truth behind the Miller thing was about

Steve Saunders was on Soccer FM last week and said it was because he was trying to change their style of play and the players weren’t happy. Holt has came in and they’re back to being a hard to break down team and it is working wonders for them.

Miller wanted to play. Don’t think the board wanted him to . The wanted a manager in the dugout type .

Dont know how long it will last but I was really impressed with Livingston and it wasn't all punts up the park either.
They played some really nice football out of defence.
Reminds me a bit of our team under Bertie Paton at it's peak.

If you only turn up to moan then do it elsewhere

Well done Livi and really refreshing to see a top three with neither Celtic nor Rangers in it.

Hope it can last the season.

It will never last. They will get found out once teams discover that football has to be played a different way on their absolutely terrible pitch.Horrible to watch football on that stuff-should be banned.Glad they beat the Rangers though.

Meanwhile, they are top three, probably financially solvent, playing a style that has brought success, even if temporary, and in a place we can only aspire to at present.

Whatever you think of them, it's a sobering thought that they were a works team until the 1970s, becoming Meadowbank, before moving to Livingstone in the 1990s.

Like us they survived near liquidation and most recently have enjoyed successive promotions to get where they are.

Well done again.
