I discussed the case with the lad's father at a Scottish Disabled Supporters' Association meeting on Tuesday. It's a shame it got to this level, it could have been sorted out long ago had Kilmarnock FC dealt with it properly.

Unfortunately, many football clubs (and other businesses) have a very low disability awareness score - often it's not that they are deliberately going out of their way to make life difficult for disabled people, it's just that they don't appreciate or understand the problem, still less understand that they have a duty in law to make reasonable provision for their fans and other customers with disabilities.
