Topic Originator: WORST

Pars fans did us proud on Saturday, but a special shout out for the drummer is required imo.
This lad/lassie played a blinder on Saturday. Never beat the 💩 out the drum for the hell of it, and kept the rhythm going to perfection.
IMO, that fan has done enough to make the sticks his/her own.

Well played the drummer. 👍

Have you tried Kennys music?
Might give ye a good deal if ye explain what it's for... Ye don't know if ye don't ask.
Failing that... They might be in a position to fix your current one up.

Good shout widtink.
I'd happily chip in towards the cost of a new/replacement/repair if required, especially if the same drummer will be beating it?

No disrespect to the other drummer, but unless it's the same guy who's realised that less is more, then it's an improvement imo.

We should be alright for money but thank you anyway. It's the same boy it's always been apart from the home game against Partick. That dreadful display was me.

I mind seeing it on record breakers.
Don't know if the record still stands... It's probably been belted oot the park since then.

He also drove in saloon car racing during the 1970s. He was a regular winner. The car he drove was the same make and model as mine, a Mazda RX3.

Back at work Thursday will check but pretty certain we do have bass drums. Will cost somewhere between 20 and 40 quid. From memory it's either red or black. Not the best brands but will make a fair racket were part of kits that have been split. No harness or beaters(?)

Yes it's big - its principal role in a marching band is to sound time for keeping step.

Clearly evident in this footage.

When we first took the drum to a game it was away to St Mirren (4-4 I think) while we were in the premiership. I just called their office in the morning and asked if it was okay to bring the drum along and they said yeah.

Every time we played away from then on I'd just call beforehand. If it's a no then it saves time carrying it on the bus, train etc. But more often than not they actually have a steward waiting for us then they would escort me through the side gate.

I know some folk have mentioned where to get a new drum. We had a brilliant one (before it was stolen after Ibrox) that we bought from Edinburgh. Its a shop near the Royal mile. The owner was really helpful- he explained what it was for and he gave us good advice about what drums would make the loudest noise and would be lightest to carry.
