 Ross county 17th November
Topic Originator: M-PAR

We’re supposed to play Ross county away on this date but I believe this is the next round of the challenge cup.
I hope the SFA use some common sense to move this game to the following weekend as it will be free weekend for both teams as we both come into the Scottish cup in the 4th round.

That is a very sensible suggestion.

Though the Diddy Cup trumping a Championship match beggars belief.....

Since when did the terms “Sensible” and “The SFA” ever go together?

Its an SPFL decision so it is up to them nothing to do with the SFA. However they should make this switch there is no reason for them not to unless both clubs cant agree for some reason like last year when Inverness didn't want to move the game

You would imagine that Ross County would be keen on shifting back to the 24th November to avoid a subsequent midweek game with reduced receipts.

You would imagine we would be keen to avoid a needless gap in our fixture list, and give Pars fans a chance to travel up to support our team.

Will be interesting to see what happens.....

Now been moved to the 24th, surely we can arrange the Inverness game now for the 17th?

Won't ICT have a game scheduled for 17 November?

Inverness have a league game so that won’t change.

We’ve definitely got a free week 17th November
