I think we'll win 3-1.

No basis for this whatsoever but since when did that matter?

This will be my first Pars game of the season so hopefully they’ll reward me with a win. My last game was the convincing win against Dumbarton at the end of last season so a repeat of that would be fine.

Our success in this match will massively depend on how good Stephen Dobbie decides to be.

All going well, he’s nullified and we sneak a win but I think the more likely scenario is us getting beat with him scoring - I do hope I’m proved wrong though

We love Dunfermline We do!

I hope Fass finds the net tomorrow, I think that when he bags his first league goal from open play he’ll go on a run, turning our season around.
I wouldn’t mind a look at thon Jambo striker too.

Aye, I think every Pars fan would welcome that, wether they're a Fass fan or not, especially if it's the opening goal, which is often so crucial. I think wee George O'Boyle went 16 games without a goal before opening his Pars account. There was never any danger of him being left out of the starting line up, as the rest of his game was fantastic, even if he did leave us in such controversial circumstances.

i think a lot will depend on how we deal Dobbie and Harkins. When Harkins was at Morton he ran the show and Johnson appeared to learn nothing with each game.

I’ve said it more than a few times, SN. We have really good players imo, but for some reason they seem to huff and puff their way through games.
To be fair there has been a bit of improvement, but when you compare our 3 early performances to what we have now, it’s like two different teams.
Somethings no right in our team, but I can’t put my finger on what it is.

Confidence. But its returning.

I think we will win as I have every confidence James Craigen can nullify Stephen Dobbie.

What I find remarkable is that a win would take us to within three points of the 17 points tally we had last season as the Joe Cardle inspired team were scoring goals for fun.

There is a difference with the goals scored now admittedly.

I am aware that, after this match,we can make a direct comparison with last season.

That might not be a pleasant experience.

Though,on a happier note, the Pars only took 8 points in the wretched second quarter, so the opportunity beckons to improve on last year's points by Christmas.

If it's true about Harkins that will be a bonus because we can't seem to deal with him and Flood and Mark Kerr ,we give them too much space.

If Harkins is out it defo improves our chances. He is a solid player who was always the difference between us and Morton.

We will get the three points today i see the confidence building and we are showing strong form which in the end we will show that we are streets ahead of our opponents, this match should be billed as Pars versus Dobbie as everyone else in their team are irrelevant cannon fodder

Most important game of the season without doubt.

If we beat QOTS and stop Dobbie from scoring then it's a massive achievement considering our defensive frailties of recent times. Confidence will be high and truly would be a solid foundation to build on.

If we lose though, there will be an absolute meltdown on here, and heads will go down and fear we could be looking behind us more than ahead.

It's an important game.

Sadly I think QOTS will pinch it 1-2 or 1-3, but would be over the moon if I was wrong ofcourse!

Stupidly put both teams to score on my coupon this week but this has 0-0 written all over it. Two poor teams although in fairness both sides have put together one or two good moves. Quite why we seem to choose the wrong bloody option almost every time we get into the final third is one of life's enduring mysteries. The one where el Bakhtaoui had got away in the middle then we played it to the left is an excellent case in point. Hopefully we can turn one of the set pieces into an actual chance for a change because the 3 points are there for the taking.

Don't think we've played badly at all, composed on the ball bar the odd slip, looked the most threatening.

Longridge should have done better and Ryan almost netted.

We've been alright just not got the goal to show for it.

Exactly. And so are most of our opponents yet some folk expect us to run rings round them.
We are better but not so much better that we will totally dominate any games in this division. It makes for this borefest if you want to call it that, in most games.
