Bohs wanted to bring the tie forward from 17 Nov to be closer to the end of the Irish season end of Oct, but East Fife refused. No date been agreed as yet but likely to be early 2019.

Now how come a scenario like this wasn't foreseen, they should play on 17th Nov as the dates were known at the start of the competition or lose the tie, Farcical to say the least.

Exactly.

Alternatively, if Bohemians refuse to play the tie on the scheduled date, surely they have to forfeit the game?

Utter shambles.

Yep. Enter the competition with the understanding that it will be played on X, y, z dates.

It shouldn't be moved. If you can't make it then it's your problem to deal with.

The whole competition is a joke.

£95,000 has been lost to Scottish Football clubs given to clubs in England,Wales,N Ireland and Eire when every penny is a prisoner.

Given this Trojan horse has failed to get Celtic into the Premier League,it needs to be wound up.

Or the Championship clubs should refuse to take part next season.

We could discuss that at the Supporters Council.

Pointless tournament as clubs already play each other 4 times a season in the league. So now Pars will be playing ICT and Alloa at least 5 times.

Introducing these non Scottish glamour clubs (sarcasm) maybe expands the tournament but it's a farce with the youth teams and clubs that from Ireland that will be in their close season.

I'd wrap the whole thing up but first we need league reconstruction but that will never happen if it means premiership clubs only playing Celtic and Sevco twice.
