Match thread - Pars v QOS
Topic Originator: OzPar

Pars TV is up and running and the team is out on the pitch going through their drills. Big game for us today. With the team unchanged from last week, we have to hope that the players show a bit more grit and determination and most importantly, they find the net more often than Dobbie!

Quite an evenly matched first half. Shades of last week with us having the bulk of possession, a couple of opportunities, but nothing yet to show for it.

Queens are dangerous on the counter, with Todd on their left wing always posing a threat. But so far, so good; nobody has us done anything awful. There has been the occasional mispass, but it looks like the ground is quite heavy and slippy at times and that may be responsible for at least some of those.

Martin, Vincent and Connolly have done pretty well and, for me at least, have been our most impressive performers.

Subs have been utterly baffling. Moving Connelly up top if he had been having a good game would be strange enough but when he's not playing well? Putting Hippolyte to the left wing? Leaving Connelly on when bringing on Kenna? Beadling and Muirhead still not fit enough to be options to bring on?

Have to agree with you rigger
I have said it before too our players need to have a good look at themselves ! To only win 1 game at home is diabolical !!

That is it for me. Time is up for AJ. One win in five at home; 7th in the league. We need a new manager. We have the players, but they are not sparking together. It is time for a change.

We are so slow in possession it's unreal. They have been able to sit with 10 men behind the ball and soaking up any pressure we have but that's where a manager earns his corn - getting some pace into the team, getting the wingers to actually stay wide, making good subs to get a bit of impetus... and we have none of that. Awful. The thing is, we've missed out on McIntyre, Neilson even McKinnon who might well be a better bet. Who can we get in to fix this? I'm not sure there are many clear options. Petrie? Danny Lennon? Who knows.

Kozma says the only reason he isn't the Pars manager is he hasn't been asked.

We never looked like scoring never mind win today .
Teams must love coming to EEP right now as we have no fight .
Said last week all this shitty back passing back and forward between the defence gives teams time to re group .
Vincent hardly put a pass forward today jus spins left or right and knocks it to defence .
Boring .boring .boring pars

Should ask McKinnon for a laugh. Imagine the state of the Falkirk fans if he shat on THEM to come us after he shat on Morton to sign for THEM.
