 Newcastle United v Brighton

Was down the road yesterday for this one.
Newcastle are dire- no invention or drive. Brighton just about deserved their win without doing much- even the goal had a double deflection. Great support for the team and much hateful chanting at Ashley who was there.
They will go down with Fulham and Cardiff or Huddersfield is my prediction.
50,000 crowd left the stadium and apart from maybe 3000 Seagull fans the mood was sombre.
Support for Rafa still huge. For how long?

Check the stats , Newcastle are ****** useless if they can’t win from that.

Rafa is only popular because the fans already have someone to vent their spleen at in Mike Ashley.

That, and the fact that he is a better calibre of manager than they probably deserve as things stand.

Their patience will wear out soon though.

Going to next Saturday's game against Watford. Done the stadium tour years ago when the gallowgate end was still terracing and always wanted to go down for a game, looking forward too it.
