 Go on ye Jambos

Would be great if they could keep it going and win the thing. Unlikely I know but would be good for the Scottish game.

Depends who Celtic buy in the transfer window.... Unless Hearts are too far in front by then I think Celtic will end up winning it.
But.... Ye never know eh 😏

Rangers and Hibs are both still in it too.

I'll discount Aberdeen now. They lose too many crucial games to lift the title.

What if it was Kille or Livi?!

Ach I don't think Hibs or that other lot are genuine title challengers yet.
But.. It's a funny old game... Ye never know eh 😏
Aberdeen I agree won't amount to much this season. I've no been keeping up with events there but they don't seem to be as consistent as they have been in recent seasons.
I expect Livi to fall away a wee bit once teams figure out how to handle them.
Dundee to go down with??? Who knows for the relegation playoff.
Is there still a playoff for the second bottom side?
So... To sum up...
Celtic champions again
Dundee relegated
Hearts or the new club to finish second.

I actually want Hearts to win it.

They were my dad's team and the first match I attended was Hearts vs Killie at Tynecastle, followed, by Pars vs Hearts at East End.

I think we drew which was a great result back then.

Anyway, that was me hooked on football and the Pars. Big crowds, great atmosphere, all over Scotland then. I think Hearts v Hibs that year had over 45,000!

Changed days indeed.

I agree.
They've not started the season so well ...
But it's a marathon not a sprint.

I do think it's only a matter of time til Rodgers leaves for pastures new. EPL I reckon.
But even if that were to happen tomorrow I still think whoever takes over will be clutching the league trophy at the end of the season.

Ye never know though.
The unspecial one to Celtic???

Rumour on Tyneside is Jose out on his ear at OT, Rafa in and Brendan to Newcastle.

I think Jose will stay at least until the end of the season. Whether he stays on will depend on Man U making the Top 4.

Hmmm
I wouldn't say Rafa is right for Man u either... And I'm a fan of his.
Brenda to Newcastle is a good shout though.

Don't think Rodgers would touch Newcastle.

Surely if Man U think Rafa is that good and guided a club to the foot of EPL then Rodgers would have far better credentials for he Man U job?

It would be refreshing for a club other than the Glasgow pair to the title - what odds it comes down to a last game of the season decider ?

Doubtful.

Nightmare scenario for Jam Tarts fans if it did, recalling previous horror shows in ‘65 and ‘86.

You could be right, but that would just put Scottish football back five years to dominance by the two cheeks, instead of just one.

Well that's how it's going to end up again.
As much as I'd love to see an end to the dominance of the west coast team (I say team for now cos newco aren't there yet) I'd be astonished if 2/3/even 4 years down the line we're not back to the way it's been in the past. Celtic and Newco battling it out every year for honours... The other teams feeding off the scraps.
Anyone who thinks there is going to be any different outcome is kidding themselves.

They're 9th in the league at the moment. They've completely collapsed since Ronaldo left it looks like. I can't see it anymore though as it's only on Eleven sports I think.
