Interesting to Ryan dropped. Thought he looked like our only goal threat. Would say 442 maybe. Team looks strong on paper.

I thought that Craigen might still be fullback and that Williamson playing in front of him.

Will be interesting to see how we line up. Could just be 4-4-2 with Craigen on the right and Hippolyte on the left, and Longridge dropping deep. Could be 4-2-3-1. Could be a back 3 with Beadling in there. If we aren't sure then Neilson probably won't know much either at least!

We played 3 5 2 last time we beat the Arabs on their home turf.

Didn't work too well thereafter.

Players are often given a game in the reserves to get them back into first team contention.

When you're not playing well you don't seem to get any help and this is another example. When the ref blew the whistle I thought we were getting a soft free kick for Faisal being sandwiched between the two United players. Quite how he managed to see a foul in their favour is beyond me. A really awful decision. We needed to defend it better for sure but it's a kick in the teeth when we'd started quite well.

McMullen scored a header. Was never a foul, but the smallest player on the park scored a header from a set piece. Awful defending.

He pulled 14’s shirt and although soft, technically a foul. Regardless, the defending for the free kick was disgusting.

We're posing little to absolutely no threat here tbh, Hyppolyte with an OK chance at the start but the United keeper has been a spectator.

It was a foul at the goal. Worse was Faisal has several chances to clear but instead tried to be far too clever.

To be fair, I thought the boos were at the ref.
We haven't been playing badly enough to warrant boos to the players in my opinion.

Faisal on his last warning, I’d be close to hooking him.

If it stays as is...we'll be three points off the relegation playoffs. If our result stays and Alloa pinch a win against Inverness...

AJ has had enough chances, been with us long enough, and we're just not progressing. Time to say thanks, but on your way.

I'd rather Alloa pinched a win tbh, if Inverness score we'll be 8 points off a playoff spot, that just simply isn't acceptable.

There's allot that could happen in this second half, a few permutations but the most likely scenarios would be terminal for AJs Dunfermline career.

AJ's future at EEP ought to be determined by how he attempts to get us out of this mess and turn the game in our favour. He must make good tactical subs and give them time to work. The clock is ticking.

Unsurprisingly maybe, I don't think Dundee Utd are actually all that food - they might well get to the play offs but I can't see them going up with the current squad. We've not played that bad in patches but we look all over the place at the back and there is no pace going forward. The few times we have tried to get Hippolyte over the top it looks like they are worried (and one of their centre halves got booked for a cynical pull back) but el Bakhtaoui and Hippolyte DO NOT WORK TOGETHER AT ALL and quite why AJ hasn't seen that is beyond me. Vincent has had a stinker too. And now it's a penalty. Excellent. :(

Moronic from Williamson to give away the penalty. Mcmullan misses in front of the United fans at the cowden end, deja vu. Stanton now booked for diving in the box.

Vincent off Thomson on.

Vincent didn’t have his best game today with a few mistakes including in lead up to second goal. Also attacking at edge of box and passes sideways rather than shoots. I was hoping for Martin rather than Vincent as would like to see how he links up with Beadling. I would have taken Fass off at half time. Some periods where we were in charge but apart from Hippo’s early effort and Ryan at end not really threatening their goal.

Only positive really was Beadling getting the full 90 minutes. To be fair, we weren't awful for most of the game but we don't look like scoring ever. Faissal nowhere near good enough, Hippolyte not a striker, Ryan with that one on one at the end, no real width, no real creativity, the Longridges nowhere near as good in a 4-4-2 as a 3-5-2, we could go on. The most frustrating thing is that we aren't getting beat by teams who are playing well - Queen of the South last week and Dundee Utd today looked quite ordinary and we're soon going to be playing Ross County and Inverness away who have looked a lot better than those two. Tough times ahead.

How many of AJ's summer signings have actually been a success? Jackson Longridge and perhaps Durnan for a couple of games. That's it.
The likes of Hippolyte, El Bakhtaoui and Devine have been absolutely woeful signings.

Said to a few at ht that Fais was achieving nothing and on a yellow would be better replaced by Keena who looked sharp in his cameo last week.
What was Jackson thinking at the second goal?
