Looks awful! Just been on skysports news. Took off from the pitch and started spinning then crashed and burst into flames. Thoughts to everyone with a connection to the club and owners family.

Confirmed that the owner was on board along with 2 crew and 2 other passengers

Similar to Chelsea chairman, Matthew Harding, whose helicopter crashed when returning from a game at Bolton in 1996

Very sad. RIP

It's bloody tough being a legend

Very sad news.

From what has been written, he seemed to really have the club interests at heart and helped to enable Leicester to have their finest hour.

"From what has been written, he seemed to really have the club interests at heart and helped to enable Leicester to have their finest hour."

It wasn't just the club, but the whole community, he regularly donated larges sums to local hospitals and charities.

Very sad for his family and the city RIP,

He donated £1m to Leicester University.

He donated £1m to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

He gave Leicester City fans free beer, free scarves, free cakes.

He organised free bus travel to away games.

He helped Leicester get promoted to the Premier League

He helped the great escape.

He helped Leicester to an unthinkable Premier League title.

He bought every Leicester player a new car after they won the Premier League.

He backed Leicester in their first Champions League run.

He united the full city of Leicester.

RIP Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
