Shaun Byrne - a credit to himself

It has been widely documented on here and other media outlets in the past, the difficulties faced by Shaun Byrne in the past and to come in the future. I am privileged to have known personally from school and I know how humble a guy he is. For me, he is a role model to many youngsters growing up; an inspiration to many youngsters who have, are or will go through similar as well as being a top professional who has flourished at Livingston.

It is great to see him doing so well and I'm sure when the right move comes along, he will take it; there's no doubt in my mind he can make that next step and support his family further in the future.

Listened to Livi vCeltic game and the commentator was heaping praise on Shaun. Well deserved as he has developed his game really well at Livi. What a pity we are unable to develop young players and reap the benefits other clubs are getting from our cast off players. He is a really lovely young man who always has time to chat when he comes to EEP. Certainly has grown into a young man his parents would have been so proud of. Well done Shaun and good luck with all you do, I am certain he has a brilliant career ahead of him.

Shaun was one of my all time favourite young players at the Pars. He was a great passer of the ball and could split defences to allow our forwards the space to score. Oh how I wish we had held on too him . He was becoming my Scottish Beckenbauer . All the best Shaun you deserve it.

This is getting a bit silly.
