Beaton is a decent referee.

Douglas Ross I just find an abhorrent character but not anything to do with his officiating, I just find it insulting that he is an elected member of Parliament and does this as his part time job.

His constituents voted him in knowing this so not sure why others would have problems, bearing in mind a lot of MPs have other jobs some have multiple other jobs.

As long as it doesn’t impact on his day job there should be no issues.

Didn’t he withdraw from non domestic officiating to address that issue ?

Having said that I would have thought being an MP or MSP is a full time shift - unless you are Tezia Dugdale and can swan off on a self indulgent jolly.

How many of those missed a vote on universal credit though so they could attend their other jobs?
