Robbie Neilson...obviously Friday night wasn't included.

Ayr fans giving it to him tight on Twitter.

What a piece of nonsense.

Each played four league games in November - Ayr won 3 and drew 1, Dundee United won 3 and lost 1 - each scored 7 goals, Ayr conceded 1 and Dundee United 7 - and their head to head (aka The St.Andrew's Day Massacre) was 5-0 to Ayr.

I wonder if Neil Doncaster will explain how the SPFL came to this choice ?

He came in and turned round an inconsistent Utd side. Ayr have been pumping teams all season.

Doncaster and his cohorts decision making has never been the best.
Giving Brendan Rodgers the cup AND the base of the trophy on a wet staircase at Hampden was a queue for disaster that I seen coming. And yes, you guessed it. He dropped the trophy base after slipping in the steps.

Put both trophies in the same van, saves money.

It’s manager of the Month VEE, not manager of last Friday.

"It’s manager of the Month VEE, not manager of last Friday."

And over said month Ian McCall's team won more points and conceded less goals, and in the process gubbed Neilson's team......

It looks like they treated Friday's match between DU and AU as a December fixture because the remaining fixtures on the card were played on Saturday 1 December.

I see Ayr are at home to ICT this Friday evening. Is that going to be televised or could there be racing at Ayr on Saturday?

Thanks, Wsk. Ayr are getting plenty of TV coverage as a result of their good form.

My point is, like I said, Ayr were pumping teams already. Nielsen came in and turned around Uniteds form significantly.

Most points doesn’t mean manager of the month. Not saying I agree with that but that’s how it is.

If Ayr had beaten DU any other time except the last day of the month do you reckon Neilson would still have been chosen MofM ?

The fact that Ayr are newly promoted, and didn’t just beat them, but hammered them 5-0 at United’s home ground just amplifies McCall’s credentials for the award in November.

Must be a long time since DUFC lost by five at Tannadice ?

Friday may well have been their heaviest home league defeat in the club’s history.

Neilson said he always fancied the United job after he left MK Dons.
