Falkirk game was unreserved seating

No away game should be reserved seating not all fans who want to sit together can buy tickets at the same time. There were no problems at the falkirk game, unreserved seating worked well.

Bought tickets today, I was made aware that the Rovers would be strictly enforcing allocated seating (my name & address was taken along with a note of the seat allocated) - anyone not taking their allocated seat will apparently be escorted from the ground. No plan of the stand so I chose seats roughly in same position as the Norrie stand. Great service from shop staff as usual.

Good luck to RR with the enforcement of allocated seating thru’ at Pratt Street, the stewards there couldn’t cope with removing one rogue vuvuzela a few years back!!

The last time we were at Stark's Park they confiscated umbrellas and they had to be claimed at the end of the match. Their justification was that they could be used as weapons! They seem to be very security conscious.

We have got allocated seats for our bus and will request that anyone sitting in our seats to kindly relocate

If you want to get yourself organised then you can do the same, the staff at the club shop are stating that the Rovers Stewards will insist on sitting in your allocated seats

It’s not rocket science to go and buy your choice of seat in advance

If I,m reading this right this could suggest tickets will be on sale on Saturday or even PATG

“We are recommending that tickets are purchased in advance of Saturday to avoid lengthy queues at Stark’s Park prior to kick-off. Tickets can be purchased in person at the ticket office or can be paid for over the phone and collected. The ticket office is open from 9am to 4pm for the remainder of this week and the telephone number is 01592 263514.”

It does, it holds 3300. I presumed they would be shutting off the first few rows for crowd control measures but then I seen Marv’s post where apparently she has a ticket for the front row so no idea what they’re planning on doing.

not true c.600 seats available at the away half of the stand and available to us should we sell initial allocation. Home end half remains out of bounds.

Also what about the extra 600 seats in the away stand (behind the goal) that haven’t been released? Where they maybe thinking about holding them for match day ticket sales or are they just dead seats?

Roughly working it out using a picture of the away stand the first five rows equates to approximately 600 tickets so I would have thought that these are the rows taped off and hence why our allocation is only 2700 instead of 3300.

Not at Starks Park... front row is AA, second is BB... my tickets are for row RR - and there certainly aren’t 44 rows in the stand!

AA definitely at the front, I’m HH which is 8 rows back from front. All rows are double lettered along there.

Email come through saying we have sold over 2300 tickets which is a great effort.

The downside is that there is now a delay on a decision as to whether there will be sales of tickets on the Saturday at East End and there will be no tickets available at Starks Park on Saturday.

Also it's allocated seating which should be straight forward but...

Edited to add the email header is less than 400 tickets available.

Why? We are the away team they have two stands to fill we have 1 if they sell out both stands then fair play to them more fans in both ends means more money for OUR club

Also just to add they have 3300 tickets to sell for the stand behind the goals we only have 2700 to sell

Come on ye pars ⚽️

This is quite a contrast from last season.

We had an attendance of 1179 at Queens Park then a Gate of 2573 for Morton at East End.

The total was 3752.

E mail received at 14.49 Today

Raith Rovers v DAFC - Ticket Information
Saturday 19th January 2019 - William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round

There has been significant sales of tickets for both away support and we continue to receive information that some supporters hope to purchase tickets on match day. A decision on match day sales has been delayed due to the levels of current demand. You are strongly advised to purchase tickets from DAFC to avoid being disappointed on matchday.

DAFC have now sold over 2300 tickets for the William Hill Scottish Cup at Starks Park this Saturday.

Tickets are priced at: Adults £15, Over 65s and disabled £10, and Under 16s £5.

The match is strictly allocated seating. Raith Rovers have indicated that the match is all ticket and there will be no tickets available on matchday at Starks Park.

You can buy tickets for all matches online via DAFC Tickets Online. If you require a specific seat (e.g. end of row) or a certain area when booking online please email matthew@dafc.co.uk once you have placed your order and we will try our best accommodate your request.

Alternatively match tickets can be bought over the phone - 01383 745909, or in the Shop.

The Shop will be open Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturdays 10am - 12 noon in the lead up to the match

Raith have sold 2700+ now, which was announced a little while ago... Maybe that is what jas is referring to.

I'd be very surprised if they don't open up the Key-Tech Stand at this rate, with demand being so high. Going to be a great support from either team and a fantastic atmosphere within the ground, too.

Hopefully with the stand being full (or nearly full) folk actually sit in their allocated seats. It's a nonsense when the stand has loads of spaces but when it's this full, folk need to be sensible about it. Sadly we all know that sensible football fans are sometimes a bit thin on the ground.

Draw would not be the end of the world
