Anyone else have him in as Manager if we (finally) make the decision to get rid of AJ? He’s done miracles with an absolute shoestring budget and part time team. He was brave and made decisions to affect the game today and get his team back into it, imagine that a manager actually using the squad at his disposal and seeing substitutes as a positive to impact a game rather that an inconvenience and something to be used only in a result of injuries.

I think he would do a great job with a full time team and a squad of (supposedly) better players.

Can’t see it being an expensive appointment either, would be amazed if he didn’t have a clause in his contract allowing him to go to a full time club.

Has certainly done well with Alloa and while I’d consider him among the top candidates, he has never managed a full time team

We love Dunfermline We do!

We should have offered Alloa a straight swap at the final whistle.

Yeah he works for Cadbury’s, read an interview with him a while back saying that’s what the day job was, the Wispa is his best seller apparantley, he’s not one to shout about it though :-)

If we can’t offer him a better package than what he’s currently on though we might as well chuck it now!

I genuinely think he’d do a good job though.

Was the current Sunderland manager not at Alloa for a season or two before migrating to St Mirren?

I would take Goodwin and any assistant in a heartbeat over those two imposters we currently have.

He may be a sweetie salesman but should sort out the soft centre in the character of our players. He would be an improvement on AJ who knows more about Tic Tacs than Tactics

He'd get us a team of shotstoppers from his experience selling gobstoppers. I'd also consider Darren Young.

He may not want full time management. If he has a good customer base for his sweetie sales he will have a decent salery plus his wages from alloa. To give that up I would have thought he would need a long and pretty lucrative contract to leave. Can Dunfermline offer him that?

At least he'd show some gum shin when needing to make subs.

I know some of his transfers could be lucky dips, but he could maybe find someone worth hundreds and thousands!

I know, I'll get my coat on the way out.

Just need a wee break from the football gloom sometimes.

The way this season is going I’m surprised no one has put a Bounty on AJ’s head!
