 Volunteering
Topic Originator: Chris1983

Hi folks, not been on the forum for a while due to ill health. Haven't been working for a while due to said ill health and I am looking for some volunteer work at EEP to try and get myself back into something of a routine. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Happy to do anything, Heritage Trust, stadium DIY, club shop...pretty much anything. Thanks in advance.

Cheers 1970, just a case of emailing the club and making the email for his attention?

Chris, thanks for the willingness to help.

Dave Blackburn is a good start (he is also the club's Deputy Supporter Liaison Officer), I think his group's main involvement is with the physical maintenance of the stadium (cleaning, repairs, painting etc.) If that is what you are interested in doing then that would be great, and Dave will find work for you on a regular basis. If you have any problem getting in touch with him then drop me an email (click on "Stanza") and I will give you Dave 's email address.

If you want to help in the Club Shop, I suggest you contact Matt Ford on matthew@dafc.co.uk

If you would prefer to get involved in other aspects of the voluntary work needed to keep the club going, then that would be great too. For example, the Disabled Supporters Club is desperately in need of 2-3 more people to help out as Match Buddies on the disabled viewing platforms on match days - contact secretary@dadsc.fife.net for more information on this.

Similarly, if the Heritage Trust is something you are interested in, you can contact enquiries@daht.org.uk

There are lots of other voluntary groups and supporters clubs who do valuable work in and around the club (eg Schools Engagement, Young Pars, Centenary Lifeline, 1885 Business Club, DASC Shop/Tearoom etc etc).

EDITED AS TEXT HAD GOT GARBLED IN PREVIOUS EDITING!

Thanks Stanza, that's great. Emailed the club fao Dave so hopefully he will get that, I'll also email the Heritage Trust, Matt and the Disabled Supporters Club as these are things I'd love to get involved in. Thanks again.
