I don't know why but for some reason I am confident about tomorrow.
Could tomorrow be the start of a decent run.
hopefully a decent turn out and good start to the match for the crowd to get right behind the team.

I felt this way heading to Starks Park. I will not allow myself to do it again until the team give me good reason.

I noticed this as well. It's not often you'll see top against 7th with the 7th team favourite.

Dunfermline should be favourites for any game at EEP
The stadium should be a fortress where if a visiting team leave with a point team should be delighted
There is no way that a team in our league should be targeting a win at our stadium, they should not even be considering playing an attacking game at our patch
Let’s show what it means to come to Dunfermline and need to earn every opportunity to cross our halfway line

I'll have a pint of whatever 1970par has been drinking.
If only we could make it the case, fortress East End, used to be the norm.

I wish it did!
Then we might not be struggling in the nether regions of the league with a more likely chance of competing for the relegation play offs than the promotion ones.

I totally agree with 1970 par, EEP SHOULD BE a fortress, sadly tho it is anything but.
Funnily enough I fancy us to stroll through tomorrows game

Couldn't handle pints of that.
It's falling over quantities.
Maybe a pint of coke and a few whiskies separately.
Hope RC will be tired after a long drive, or will they have come down tonight.

To be PARS fans for as long as some of us, you need to have a good memory for the best times, a good sense of humour for the worst times and a pretty thick skin to stay with it without giving in.
And maybe a wee bit of 1885's concoction lol.

Can’t allow myself to believe in this side again this season. I don’t deal well with disappointment. I tend to feel it worse than most. So generally I try to be realistic, occasionally erring on the side of pessimism.
I think we will lose the game but a draw isn’t a bad result if we can get it. Scoring a goal would be somewhat of an accomplishment in itself.

It's probably down to the natural optimism most football fans are blessed (cursed?) with, DA. How else can you explain why so many of us keep going back for more, no matter how poor results and performances have been?
Some of us even describe fans of the most successful sides in disparaging terms such as "glory hunters ", the implication being that we fans of smaller teams are somehow superior to them.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Stevie Crawford’s first home game today
Let’s get right behind him and the team, a new manager, new players, possibly facing the best team in the league, poor form to date, all reasons for the support to be united and give the team backing, yes even if the first pass goes astray or if we lose the first goal
Forget the “happy clappers” sh1t, supporting the team means backing our players against the opposition, backing our players to overcome what is against them, they should not have to win our fans over
I’m looking forward to a good match today, we are at home and should be favourites to win the game with the fans backing
It would be good to in Legends tonight enjoying a pint and seeing smiles on faces, discussing what a good performance we have witnessed and looking forward to winning the next game and climbing the league table
Here’s hoping

Neebs, if I saw yon pus in my mirror before going to bed I'm pretty sure I'd have strange nightmares too. 😜
I'm hoping that even if the new signings are not ready to play today their arrival might push those they may be replacing to do something to keep their places.
