 It should have been five.....

With all the angst and navel gazing which followed yesterday's narrow defeat to the league leaders and us dropping uncomfortably close to the foot of the table, this remarkable little record almost slipped by, unnoticed...........

I'd have thought Fred would have been all over this like the proverbial rash. :-)

Some disgraceful decisions in that game. 2 clearly outside the box, and a couple of clear dives. The ref should be taken to task.

I don't want to sound like a paranoid Celtic fan, but I think there is a clear bias from refs towards Rangers. If there's decisions that are clearly not penalties, red cards etc, they'll get them 9/10.

And yet hilariously they seem to think there is an official agenda....against them.

Actually, although 4 pens for one team may be a record in the senior Scottish game, I recall a schools game in the 70s between Beath HS and Queen Anne which finished 4-4. (Queen Anne boasted Maurice Malpas and Jim Dobbin in their team and reached the Scottish Cup final at U-16.)

The referee was Beath HS PE teacher, Gordon Pate, who was good enough to captain the Pars reserve team, IIRC. Jim Dobbin's dad was at the game on the Saturday morning and I saw him at EEP in the afternoon. He told me Beath's goals had all come from the spot. When I caught up with Gordon, I naturally asked him to confirm that he'd awarded his team 4 penalties in the one game.

He wasn't best pleased from his defensive reply. "They were all stonewallers!"

Maybes aye, maybes naw.....

Aye and I bet Gerrard didn't even blush when he came out with this comment ,coming from the man that stated at the start of season the referees have had it in for us for years.watched it on sport scene 3 of them shouldn't been given no wonder Scottish refs get stick ,even our game yesterday some of the Decisions were laughable.

Correct. Drop in to followfollow now and again and you will always see a thread about biased referees . Mental . The odd rangers fan who suggests that the referees are merely poor and there is no agenda are often shot down as ‘Timposters’ . A staggering lack of self awareness

I’m going to watch it now. That Andrew Dallas is not up to it....and that’s before I watch it

I watched the awards on the BBC website andI think it's safe to say Dallas will not be asked to ref a Sevco v Sellick game any time soon. There would probably be a riot before the game.

How he deemed some of these as penalties is astounding. I actually agree with Gerrard, the one on Morelos which he didn't give was probably the best shout of all. Even the first award, which both managers concede was a definite is not completely convincing.

I played with a guy who could throw himself over an outstretched leg in a very convincing fashion. He earned our team quite a few pens. Unfortunately, he always insisted on taking them himself and his conversion rate was no more than 50%.

The evidence is damning.

There was Dallas, then son of Dallas.
On TV Dallas was a story where a bad guy usually won by conning people.
Dallas of course is in Texas and Texas had the Rangers.
But most of all the big American football team there is the Dallas Cowboys, hence the Ibrox connection. And even their strip contains some royal blue and white.
