 A bit of reflection...
Topic Originator: Rastapari

Don't do it often but here we go..

I've been harsh recently and it's been rather boringly repeated without any real imagination.

That last few weeks has been divisive, confusing, underwhelming, overwhelming...I could go on.

I reflected that really..when it boils down to it..my knowledge of football is based on somewhere between being a Pars fan...being a rather no well Pars fan...playing Fifa...champ manager...and blathering on here.
In short I know hee haw...shnout...nada.
I'm just a daft reactionary fan that forgets to know **** all.

I digress.
We're still Pars fans, we have differing opinions but really as some of the more reasoned posters have tried to get across...we have to accept the current reality and get behind the manager and team...the rest is just background noise.

I'm going to wind my neck in a bit and get back to supporting.
Long winded way of saying sorry for being an utter weapon...Admittedly.

I Hope You're Ok Today....

A very reasoned reflection Rasta.

The team I support is not doing well just now. I don't know how to fix that, and even if I did I wouldn't know how to go about fixing that.

If someone asks who I support, I tell them. There may be a little niggle or two about the team's recent form from others, but it won't change who I support. In reality, there would be very few supporters of any team that haven't gone through a lean patch at some time.

Well done Rasta. You were getting on my wick a wee bit ! 😊
No need to apologise, your sincerity and humility come across. I offer you my hand in friendship.🀝 😎

I was thinking, why do we posters argue so much? Maybe because we're all Pars fans but we're not family or friends. But fighting and squabbling does get boring. I'm gonna try and treat folk more as friends. What's to lose?

When I expressed concerns at the inexplicable loss of Lee Robinson; a number of fans pointed out that we would see the benefit of Ryan Scully being full time.

We would see far better co ordination with the defence.

The fans were spot on.

On Saturday Craigen kicked off the line.Jackson Longridge headed under the bar to clear.Lee Ashcroft threw himself to clear.Jackson Longridge booted off the line.

Yes the co-ordination was there for all to see.

Is that so? Well I never. 😊

Here's a handshake for you an' all Parrot if you like. 🀝 😎

BTW Rasta, I forgot to add that maybe at least part o' the reason anyone has got on my wick is from having a wick to be got on.

Anyway the proof of the pudding eh? Given myself a right test: see if I can keep my wick under control!

At least when we go down the season ticket prices will drop in price.

It’s a time for reflection after all.
