 Hammers v Liverklopp

I can see the Hammers getting a hammering if recent performances are anything to go by.
3-0 Liverpool.

Tough game. Liverpool while picking up points of late probably going through their worst form of the season just now.
Draw or tight win for the reds.

If you only turn up to moan then do it elsewhere

I’ve put money on a 3-0 Liverpool win. Will probably be 0-0.

Firmino is having an absolute shocker. He either seems to be world class or shocking. I really hope Liverpool don’t bottle it.

Uncharacteristically for Liverpool there have been a few passengers tonight. Keita and Fabinho haven't contributed much amd because they aren't dominating the midield the fron three haven't really got going. It looks like Shaqiri is about to come on so will be interesting to see if he can spark something.

I would dock a player a weeks wages for taking a foul throw. That was one of the worst I've seen. Looks like it was the first time he's ever tried it.

Not enough strength in depth for Liverpool, Man City can pull superb players out of their squad whereas Liverpool don’t have back up players to come in where form shades

I also think that Liverpool are missing a DeBruyne type player who can run the game from midfield, still some pieces in the jigsaw missing

Going to the wire for a change! Great excitement and twists and turns to come!
Both will drop points but who are going to drop the most?

I put that bet on during the day. Was convinced west ham would let goals in. Liverpool are going to bottle it. Everyone can see it. Especially themselves.

Definitely, you can see it’s affecting Klopp as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop points against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Liverpool are going to bottle it

They need another centre back to replace Lovren. Their full backs are not the best defensively and I still say Van Dijk is very susceptible to mis-timing headers in the area and they lose goals with the ball over his head.

Firmino is hot and cold, Milner and Henderson are very good hard workers but lack the real quality to break teams down.

I just cant see them seeing it through with the Champs League games coming up as well

I actually think City will drop points against Everton tomorrow. I don’t particularly rate any of their defenders other than Laporte. Walker/ Danilo are weak links and Mendy has spent the last 2 seasons injured. Putting Laporte to left back weakens them considerably in the middle. They won’t get away with playing Fernandinho as a CB/DM every game.

everton form last 12 league games to start of dec is 7 defeats 3 wins 2 draws. Those wins against huddersfield, burnley and bournemouth. Can see city running ragged and helping goal difference by 2-3 goals.

I think that Fernandinho role was specific to something Pep had seen against Arsenal as Stones is fit and could have played. I don't think that formation will be used against Everton.

More than likely. I also think Pep was trying to get a team with KDB, both Silvas and Gundogan out there against Arsenal. I think Gundogan is extremely underrated. He’d walk in any other EPL teams midfield .

Would agree if it was in Bournemouth but it's not and Bournemouth are poor away from home.

I like him too. He's a great squad player although he has had a couple if ropey games which has led to him being on the end of a fair whack of stick on City's equivalent of this.

No question that Liverpool's form has dipped since the turn of the year but let's get it in perspective.
Man City we know can be ruthless to watch but results vs Newcastle and previously Crystal Palace at home suggest they are inconsistent as well.
Liverpool are at least getting a point when they are at their worst and still only lost one game , to City I accept.

Lots to play for yet and Liverpool , like City are both capable of hitting top form again or the reverse.
Pep is a master of the psychology and so even as a pool fan confess he has that advantage over Klopp who must feel the expectations of the fans as an emotionally charged football person.
Three points ahead but I'd say it is even Stevens who will win at this point.
