That was a total joy to watch. Three fantastic Pars players telling tales that most of us will never have heard before. A really refreshing take on a fascinating period of the club's history told by guys that clearly have a great fondness for DAFC.

This series is providing an outstanding insight into what has made our club what it is. In years to come, children and grandchildren of Pars fans today will be grateful that the Heritage took the trouble to record these precious memories.

Well done to everyone involved.

:)

Thanks for the comments on behalf of the Heritage Trust. The video interviews have been a great success here and on Facebook.

Enormous credit goes to Chris Wishart for lining up the players, Christine Scott for doing the interviews and to Craig Brown for filming and editing them.

Used to have a similar looking suit years back which my mum bought!

Ended up swapping it for a Stones album, which got a great more use than the tin flute.

Great interview with three gents.

The story about big Rougvie made me laugh. I worked for the same company as him for a spell in Aberdeen and after work we'd sometimes play basketball at the Bon Accord centre for fun.
Suffice to say he was always competitive.

The Munro saga was a big own goal for the club, regardless of what some Board members thought of Leish.
I think it's obvious from these lads' thoughts that the spirit within the team was shattered and many hundreds of fans protested the change in vain.

When I saw the three of them, my first thought was, “spot the Highlander“...

Just watched the Bobby Robertson interview, quite a few laugh out loud moments in it and some great stories which I won't spoil.
I first met Bobby in his student days as he shared a flat with one of my mates, I can remember being awestruck at the time! Can't believe that was almost 40 years ago.

A real gent and great Pars stalwart - absolutely worth watching.
