Falkirk win and we win tomorrow then only 3 behind them!

However, on the cautious side I'd probably say a draw is a good result

I want Falkirk to win, so we'd have a better chance of catching Ayr.

seeing as an abandoned game with several injuries and red cards is unlikely, a draw is the best outcome.

It be nice to catch Ayr, so actually kinda hope Falkirk could do it in a way. Hope of course, they lose every other game and go down still.

Jobby!

Aye have been passengers. Their bubble has well and truly burst. Why on earth did they sign Aaron muirhead? He was awful for falkirk.

The Shankland miss summed up Ayr of late.

McKinnon certainly got them into some what of a 180 turnaround.

A lot of big guys in the team now, no nonsense types and certainly not the powderpuff guys they had previously particularly at centre back.

Great feature at half time on our win against Valencia back in 62 . A good 4-5 mins with interviews with Alec Edwards, Willie Callaghan,Harry Melrose and others.well worth watching on catch up.

^^^^^^ That would be sore viewing for Falkirk fans tuning in to watch their team. :)

Yes, I did have a wee titter thinking about the fans chucking things at their tellies out Grangemouth way.

Tbf, they’ve been in Europe more recently than us.

They got knocked out by the Liechtenstein side FC Vaduz.

I may or may not have been there for the away leg trying not to pee myself laughing when the winning goal went in.

What considerate neighbours, helping us out in our quest to reach third place in the play offs

We need to return the favour today and help their plight against relegation

An interesting stat that I noticed on pie n bovril ( so haven't checked it myself) is that 9 of Ayr's 12 wins this season have been against only 3 teams: Alloa, Patrick Thistle and Dundee United.
That strikes me as a bit unusual , you might have expected a side who were sitting in the top three for most of the season to have picked up points more across the board?

Reinforces the fact there is nothing between us all bar Dobbie Shankland and RCs money.
