Five consecutive league wins with no goals conceded - must be in contention ?

Okay, so it is 617 league minutes and Westie holds the record. So where does Scully stand in goal-free minutes at the moment?

Thanks dave67 - were those games all wins, or is there a 0-0 draw in there among them ?

5 matches is 450 minutes, injury time does not count it's just 90 mins.

What we need to know is how many minutes before full time in the game previous to our first win of five, did the opposition score? We then add that to the 450 to get the current running total.

"5 matches is 450 minutes, injury time does not count it's just 90 mins."

If injury time doesn't count how come Westie's total is 617 minutes?

Because the minutes count from the last time a keeper concedes ie loses his last goals 70 minutes into a game so the final 20 count towards his total minutes without losing a goal.

Come on min.....some of the time is from the time he let the last goal in until the end of that match.
Which means he managed 6 matches and let one in on the 76th minute of the 7th match.

Just realised someone is going to look back and check that.

That's just bawz!

Why shouldn't extra time count?

It's still time that the keeper shut-out & it would be in the match officials report.

Matches last two equal periods of 45 minutes.

There is no play during injury time.

Having rather sadly looked at the Parsdatabase until late last night (I blame dafcburty!), it seems Pars have matched their record of consecutive clean sheets and wins of 5 in a row. That is from the tail end of season 1985/86.

If Pars were to match the record of consecutive clean sheets (set in that same time period of 85/86) in all competitions (6), they need to not concede vs Dundee United next weekend.

Sean Murdoch holds the Pars record of 612 minutes of clean sheets in league matches only. Sandwiched inbetween that record was a 4-0 defeat to St Mirren in the challenge cup.
