 Massive game this weekend

9 ahead of Falkirk with 4 to play. Even though we look safe there are still nerves!

Hopefully we can get going quickly on Saturday and kill it off.

C'mon Ye Pars!

I don't think you need to worry. We got 5 on the trot with none conceded against mid and lower opposition. We narrowly lost to Ayr, D. Utd and RC.
We have improved enough to stay safe...just not enough to progress.

No wins in 4. If we lose on Saturday has SC really done enough to keep his job?

Im on the fence but I think you are being harsh concidering who we played in the last 4.

He can only p with the p'er he's got.

We really cant tell. Hes improved us for sure...just not enough but who knows what he can do in a full transfer window.

I suspect we might get a backlash from Falkirk after their recent results and the predicament they are now in. Important that we are up for this despite our season being all but over.

One thing I will say about AJ, he did always have us fired up for these games.

Awight Pat!

the season isn't done, still not mathematically safe and need to finish as high in the league as possible.

When you work out the maths remember to account for the teams below us playing each other so they cant all get max points. If one gains the other cant catch us. We just need 3 pts.

Even allowing for every team below us playing against each other every team below us can still surpass our current points total. Even Alloa who looked dead and buried weeks ago could still finish on 47 points.
It's not over yet, 3 points still required. I did read on PN B that Dobbie looks to have done his hamstring so Queens fans are deeply gloomy about their prospects. They face Alloa on Saturday.

We’ve got a massive chance to put our biggest rivals down, a horrible club on and off the park. All the pressure is on them if our players choke this one it’ll be unforgivable.

alloa win last night and thistle playing Ayr twice, Ross county, alloa and qots in remaining games i think puts thistle in the real **** to go down, alloa survive and falkirk in the playoff

its 4 but if we beat Falkirk and Partick don't win at Ross County then we would be safe.

same as Partick was this is a must not lose game.

Winding up my Falkirk supporting pal today

DOOMED, I told him, DOOMED

They have us to play followed by Morton at home, no chance that they will do them any favours after the McKinnon debacle

They then have Dundee Utd and Ross County

Alloa and Partick play each other next week, they can’t both lose!

DOOMED Falkirk DOOMED, they replaced one load of donkeys with another load of donkeys, fine therefore for the Seaside League next year

Snigger!

Said it before last night and will say it again although I don't want to see it we could lose every game and we would still stay up.4 games left and we have more teams below us than above us and a 5 point gap to the nearest team below.A win this weekend would cement 5th for us though and then we could start giving some of the youngsters a run out to see whether they are capable or not without risking losing out on any prize money.

This is what I love about the championship this season, every single match is massive. If we win, falkirk have a huge job on their hands. As others have said we beat them then they have Morton who will want more than anything to stick one to them. Dundee United and Ross county will want to be in form going into the playoffs. Usually I don't want teams to get relegated, but Falkirk are an absolutely vile club from top to bottom. The way they treated Dean shiels at both a board level which was basically an interrogation right the way to the fans who threw eyes on the pitch was a disgrace.

My prediction is Falkirk and one of QotS/Morton will fill the bottom two. I think with Scott McDonald, Thistle with their game in hand have just enough to stay out of danger. Would be quite funny if Forfar got promoted along with Arbroath that would be a weird league next season haha

Montrose still have a chance of making the playoffs too. What an achievement that would be for Stewart Petrie-they were the worst team in Scotland on a fairly regular basis not so long ago.East Fife v Montrose this weekend.
