How valuable is experience in this league?

Looking at teams like County with Gardyne, Draper, Cowie, Brian Graham.

Ayr with the likes of Moffat, Mark Kerr, Steven Bell.

Are we too reliant on youth and should we be looking to bring in more experience heads for next season?

C'mon Ye Pars!

In that respect I wonder if having Willo Flood in there this season would've made a difference.

Any decent side will usually have a smattering of older & wiser players.
But they were youngsters too once upon a time. Its finding the balance that's important...
"You'll never win anything with kids", somebody once said... And they were...
Well, they were wrong actually...
So forget what I said.
Go about your business.
Nothing to see here 😂

Queens with Dobbie and ayr with the likes of kerr.

Would love to have a couple of older heads who have played to a much higher level in thier prime. Flood would have been good and someone like grainger could have added something.

We have too many players who in thier prime have struggled at either this level for other clubs or they just couldn’t get a game in bottom 4 in the prem.

Just sitting here drenched in my own positivity! AJ is gone!

That is why I would argue for Dunfermline signing Michael Gardyne next season.

Why would Gardyne come to Dunfermline?

We have plenty of experience. Ashcroft, Devine, Craigen, Robinson, Longridge haveall been at a higher level than we are now. What we lack is quality.

I have been watching the Pars since the 1960s and many of our squads had the benefit of the older more experienced player.

Alex Kinninmonth,Hugh Robertson,Joe Mcbride,Ian Ferguson,Hamish French ,Craig Brewster etc come instantly to mind.

Experience definitely helps but quality is just as important. As said above we have experience in there but the quality of the more experienced players isn't good enough.

c'mon the pars

Perhaps a couple of seasoned pros from our premier league might be a way to help us.
