The fact that Sky are getting full rights to Scotland again makes me so sad. Their coverage up here is stinking, everything has to be linked to the Old firm, their pundits are crap and they don't even know half the clubs (Constantly misuse Badges, names etc)

Two things in favour of SKY Sports.

First the commentaries by Ian Crocker are well researched, objective, authoritative and articulate.

Second, thanks to SKY Sports HQ Jeff Stelling,we get to hear about Scottish Football outside Scotland's big five clubs.

That is not due to informed comments through his ear piece,It is due to this Hartlepool supporter having empathy for the smaller clubs and his readiness ,over the years ,to go to these clubs.

And SKY Sports pay decent money to televise Scottish games.
I never yet found out what the BBC are paying for Friday night Championship Sportscene.

Sliema par, I wouldn't be surprised I'd a large percentage goes to the bigot brothers.

I don't think Hearts,Hibernian or Aberdeen would complain regarding the SKY Sports income.

Now I know you must be trolling. Crocker is about the worst commentator going, and the Sky summarisers are even worse, offering little or no insight. Their pundits are always just two former Old Firm players who offer nothing either (not that there is much time to do so given the programmes start and end just a few minutes before and after the match).

Ian Crocker is just a stat man. It’s all he says during a game, oh and the very frequent references to the bigot brothers. Really puts me off watching the games.
