Chelsea better team by far for sixty minutes. They will play a lot worse and win this season. Man U were dreadful first half. It is a funny old game right enough.

Luke Shaw? Who eat all the pies ?

Let the word go out that Utd are back..... ok maybe not but still a great result. Still problems with the balance of the team and Chelsea will feel aggrieved not to have scored a goal or two. No doubt that on his day Pogba is absolutely world class. The pass for the third was sensational.

Turn on, Tune in, Drop out.

Thought it was an entertaining game. All three signings couldn't have asked for a better game.

Maguire MoM, Bissaka efficient throughout and James with the goal in the time he was on.

Don't think United expected Chelsea to be so offensive from the outset and they were good at pressing when off the ball which gave united little time which led to loss of possession. Chelsea will have been disappointed not to be ahead first half nevermind losing.

Second half thought Man Utd were brilliant, counter attacking is phenomenal.

Chelsea will feel the effects of the transfer embargo. Abraham, Moult, Zouma, Christiansen, even Giroud I wouldnt have thought would be in the starting line-up had they the opportunity to strengthen.

Knowing United they'll blow it next week at Wolves.

McTominey looked pretty good, I thought. Well worth his place.

As much as I would like to see Man Utd back to their best, I can't help but think this is a freak result and they will come crashing down quite quickly.

Lampard will be gone by October. Man Utd are still fecking murder and 4-0 really flattered them. The two biggest sides in the country are now so far ahead of Utd, Chelsea , spurs and Arsenal it’s actually become a glorified SPL.

4-0 didn't flatter them,Utd took their chances and Chelsea didn't.

VAR will favour Man Utd this season I’d imagine. Probably an extra 12 points .

Yep Utd will be helped by the laws being properly enforced. Teams with divers and simulators will likely miss out though hence why Pep is so against it.

Turn on, Tune in, Drop out.

VAR has been fine this season so far. I'm really not a fan of the new handball rules, but VAR has seen them applied correctly.

Equally, I'm not a fan of offside being called by the millimetre; it's not realistic to expect a striker (or defender) to judge their position with that level of precision.

That said, as long as the rules are applied consistently, it's an improvement.
