I for one am really looking forward to Saturday.

Can I ask for all Pars fans going not to lower themselves to old firm standards, to try and get a reaction out of the Celtic fans

Please no union jacks, no follow follow etc , that we seem to get involved in each time we visit the old firm

Support our team, be loud and celebrate Dunfermlines history and traditions and not anyone else’s

.

Really? Only been here 6 years now, so never been to Celtic Park with the pars, but never have I heard or witnessed any Unionist stuff on our side.
In that time we have been to 29 different away grounds enjoying our complete disregard for West Coast religious attitude. My reason for being my kids up Pars.
I very doubtful if we sold out or 1k allocation and it was hijacked by non everyday fans

Is this a joke? Follow Follow has absolutely never happened. Union Jack yes, Follow Follow no.

A black and white Union Jack has made an appearance at recent games. That can get in the bin. 😉

Who are you to decide what flags people take to games? There will be a few of them there, if a piece of material offends you it’s probably best you don’t go.

What's the problem with a black and white union jack?

Baiting and banter with other fans is all part of the footballing experience, I highly, highly doubt there will be any sectarian pihs but I fully expect the pars fans to give it to the celtic fans tight.

Pre cage we used to sing the "Sash" one week and "Off to Dublin in the green" depending on which side of the OF we were playing.

On one of the You Tube black and white clips you cbd hear a version of one of them, can't remember which.

I'm nearly certain there was a cracking Pars flag at the Borehamwood game that had a black and white Union Jack but could be making that up?

I have been following the Pars since the early 80's and the only time I can remember any sectarian $h!t was at parkhead in the late 90s,

We just went a goal down and some clown jumped out of his seat and screamed " c'mon pars get intae this f*n**n scrum, about 2 rows back another guy jumped up and roared at him " If you want to shout that **** follow rangers, don't shout that **** at Dunfermline games"

The surrounding fans stood up and applauded.

The best bit was we went on to win 1-2

East End Park is a symbol of all that is DAFC.

In the cage days, it would be a regular occurrence at a Pars Celtic game to sing hello hello and for all to use the line “up to our knees in fenion blood, surrender or you’ll die “. And also hail hail. In those days, it just seemed normal.
It also was normal for the whole end to boo an oo oo Richard cadette. I remember someone handing out flyers outside the ground to educate against this at the time and remember thinking that they were weird. That was in the 80’s and I was only like 8.
Anyone saying that didn’t happen is kidding themselves. It did. I look back in horror, but then again I was a child at the time. The place was full of fully grown adults doing this

Show us yer....

I wore a union flag on my arm for 22 years in the military, is there a problem with our UK flag?

On one's saying there is, Rossm but context is everything. The Irish tricolour is one of the world's noblest flags - peace between orange and green - but wave it at someone inside Ibrox and it takes on a different meaning.

Aye. Let’s face it. If you’re bringing in a Union Jack (or flag or fleg) into Celtic Park, you know exactly what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. But at the same time, you’re taking yourself (and the rest of us who are then guilty by association) right down to the level that they all operate at - Bigot level. Exact same for the other cheek of the same erse with a tricolour at Ibrox.
