For Cove Rangers on a short-term deal until January. What a fall from grace.

We love Dunfermline We do!

He will boss that league just like Fyvie doing.

I'd take Aird back in a heartbeat.

C'mon Ye Pars!

Hmmm. Aird has talent, no question, but I can't help wondering why he's barely lasted 5 mins at every club since he left the Rangers.....

If he was a poor player, I could understand it.

We can all speculate, but obviously something's not right when club after club release him/allow him to leave/don't offer him a new contract. I think the Pars is the only club to offer him a new deal since the Rangers, but he opted for Tannadice instead.

Pinning hopes on Aird singing and releasing Cardle was a mistake..

Cove will be in the championship before long. They seem to have the resources to at least emulate what the likes of Brechin, Dumbarton and Alloa have done in recent years.

"releasing Cardle was a mistake"

yep because his career has been a raving success since leaving us and showing us exactly what we miss...

Yes a great career with us but bit part player and on the bench for much of the 6months prior to being released.

I'd argue that even with Cardle declining ability, having someone like him or Josh in the team is a huge boost. We've had very few players recently since those 2 left that we could say would regularly get you out your seat or have a clear love for the club. We've also been in absolute desperate need for a solid left winger

The form he was in it was right to offer Aird a new deal but his "the rangers" attitude certainly rubs me up the wrong way. Bundles of talent, but how often do you see rangers youth players with attitude problems? A lot of them have that natural talent but when forced to work hard for something a lot of them seem to fall short.

Did Aird's dad confide in your father-in-law? I find it quite surprising if he did. If my boy had a poor attitude, I certainly wouldn't be telling my work mates about it. Doesn't exactly show the family in a good light, does it?
