Andy ryan definitely seemed to change the game in our favour. The ball watching and lack of concentration for their goal is just not good enough. Either Ashcroft or Comrie have to pick up McAllister there rather than waiting for the ball to come to them. It's been a poor first quarter, but the table is very tight right now, It may not seem much consolation to some on here but going away to cappielow and Firhill and getting 4 points is a good return. A disappointing draw at home to alloa yes. But let's see if the team can build on a 3 game unbeaten run and start turning draws into wins. Don't care how they come but a bit of grit will do this team a world of good

Only thing I want to hear from Crawford is his resignation. Not interested in his boring, mundane, tripe that he churns out every week post and pre match

Nice ball from Ryan to split defenders, maybe Nisbet could have taken the Morton GK wide rather than shoot so close to him, although not so easy given the run Nisbet made and the ball. GK is a big dude, BTW.

On the Pars' goal, hard to believe that the Morton GK let the ball out of his grasp for Ryan to tap in.

On Ton goal, it was a clear foul throw -- thrower's back leg is as high as his waist. Then, there's one Ton player in front of the net: why isn't Ashcroft marking him? Because he's watching the ball ... again.

We supporters are notoriously excitable bunch, tending to overreact to both victory and defeat, so I appreciate the comments made by long standing supporters who can see some positives amongst the disappointing results. We must be realistic.

However the dressing room is a different matter: there is no room for realism in the dressing room before the players take the field. Every player must believe he is part of a team that is going to win the match and that he personally is capable of outplaying his direct opponent. Managers like Shankly and Ferguson turned this psychology into something of an art form.

Stevie Crawford seems to be falling short in this area. There is fatalistic air about him and the cliché ‘Cappielow is never an easy place to come at the best of times’ a bit less than a battle cry. We must be setting some sort of record for not scoring during the first half of a match, partly because we are going out on to the park more in hope than expectation.
