Ours was definitely a penalty; not so sure about theirs.

Ours was soft. Theirs was not a penalty -- Ashcroft got to the ball first, although it was close and you can see how the ref missed it. Nor do I think the handball was a penalty under the new rules, but everyone has their own interpretation of them.
Dow can just ghost past players with the ball if he wants to. He's a fun player to watch.
Nisbet looks like he's trying to tell his teammates about the open player at the back post right before the cross. You can't blame the GK for that one -- that's ball watching by the defense. Strange that Edwards is marking the other player when he's the LB and the cross comes from the left.

Their penalty was a hard one to see clearly , but when it is slowed down it looked like Ashcroft got the ball ! and definitely at least one hand ball we didn't get a penalty for ( seems they are only given against us)
Our penalty was definitely a penalty , it was a clever of Nisbet to get it
But as the highlights showed we had enough good chances to score more goals , not to be so we just have to take it on the chin and move on

Ash is adamant in his post-match interview that he got to the ball first and the Alloa player stood on his toe. He said the Alloa player admitted this was the case.

Perhaps if we had VAR we would have one 2 - 1. Providing Nisbet scored a second penalty, this time from the Alloa player's hand ball.
