Watching the wee team on highland TV, the locals seem to have taken this cup to heart even less than us!
Not the worst game of football I have watched this season, but a shame it will probably cost them to play.

Much bigger teams looking at him than us. No chance he will end up here.

Sure I hered the attendance was only 1100 for them last night. Definitely cost them dosh they just dont have. I fear another season in the seaside league might kill them off if they dont get back up.

I wonder how many we would have got on a Friday night for a televised game against Elgin City?

Crowd was less than 1400 last weekend v Stranraer.
I don’t know how they manage to financially keep going.

Let's face it they need to play in the same league as us, plus it would also help us. It would also help our finances to have the Adams family in our league. Has anyone looked at this possibility, the 2 Dundee teams get promoted and Livingston and Hamilton get relegated plus both Raith and Falkirk fail to get promoted. We could be looking at crowds averaging less than 3000. If this was to happen I wonder how many of our league would go part time.

The boy Bowie will clear their debt!
How do Raith unearth these players?
Is our scouting system that bad, thought the academy was formed to find these players.

There was a bit of interest in him from us at the time. He chose Raith. Scouts there made it clear they wanted him.

Their on loan striker Gullan from Hibs reminds me of our former on loan player Bruce Anderson. Such a gulf in playing abilities between the divisions. I spoke to Lewis Vaughan last weekend. He’s gutted to be injured again but he’s their only hope after Gullan leaves. Bowie was ok but I’d put him in the same bracket as Danny Armstrong.

Bowie has only just turned 17.

I thought we get first dibs on players from Fife elite. Must be wrong though

Maybe we do. That doesn’t mean the player needs to come to us. They are free to choose where they want to go if they have a number of offers.

Talking of Bruce Anderson, doesn't look like he's gonna get a chance with Aberdeen. We could do worse than get him back here, he would do even better in our current team than he did playing with last season's huddies.

He's still scoring regularly for Aberdeen reserves I'm pretty sure, a natural finisher, reminds me a bit of Shankland when he was with us in being a great goalscorer but not much else. We create a lot more than we did last season, worth trying to bring him in on loan? Think we only have one domestic loan slot left, with Kiltie, McDonald and Cochrane in the squad. McGill for me is still very raw, maybe keep him in the squad but have him playing regular reserve football to develop. Maybe reassess when we get to January to see whether we will be in the promotion playoff picture or a relegation battle to see what personnel we need to bring in.
