Lee Ashcroft misses Saturday's Scottish Cup tie against Stranraer as a result of the red card he received against Raith Rovers last season being carried forward to this season's competition.

Could have sworn it was Durnan that was sent off. Or was he the one that gave away the penalty?
What’s the script with Murray and Lang? Devine at CB is giving me the fear.

I'd play Morrison personally, was magnificent at Parkhead and not really had a look in since.
C'mon Ye Pars!

Devine steps in for me - solid defender who is much better than many give him credit for.
Spent yesterday with my brother in law who is a Clyde season ticket holder - he really rates Lang.

Our defensive record was very strong the year he played at the back - just don’t get why he is always the scapegoat - the problems were further up the pitch.
Even at Arbroath this season he got slaughtered yet Arbroath didn’t create a single chance other than a weak long distance shot that Scully inexplicably failed to save.
His distribution isn’t fantastic but no worse than Martin or Ashcroft.
Hope he doesn’t play and have a nightmare though or i’ll be getting pelters 😩

I don't think the outcome of this tie will be decided by the choice of Ashcroft's replacement.

No, but Ashcroft missing in a hostile away Cup environment is not an immaterial loss -- and that's coming from someone who understands that he has limitations. Has he missed a game yet this season?

Devine in for me. Beedling has been poor this season in his natural centre mid position so why he'd play better at Centre half is beyond me.
Skully/Gill (At this point I see no difference in either)
Comrie
Devine
Martin
Edwards
Dow
Paton
Turner
Coley
Kiltie
Nisbet
4411 for me imo would work best with our players till Thomson is fully fit where I'd move to a 433.

“ Beedling has been poor this season in his natural centre mid position so why he'd play better at Centre half is beyond me.”
Until he signed for us, Beadling was playing CB. So surely that’s his natural position? Given he was in the Sunderland academy for years, playing CB, I’d imagine a lot of coaching he has had, is in relation to that role.

Yet we have never seen Beadling play there, yet some on here would have him in there?
