After the players put a half arsed effort into the 90 minutes, they have the cheek to try come over and applaud the fans. They were rightly told to GTF

Ach, they don't need to be told they were poor, they were thanking the fans who went.

I think it would have been very poor had they simply ignored the folks who endured both financial and geographic inconvenience to lend their support. I wasn’t there today, but I certainly commend every Pars fan who traipsed down to Stranraer on a day like this. They deserve thanks, and it’s right that the players recognised this too.

Don’t come over and applaud the fans after an embarrassing defeat.....just get off the park and back in the dressing room.

If they did that they would get slated for ignoring the fans. They were right to applaud them.

It was obvious they were not going to get a good reception from the fans given they got booed at the final whistle. (And many other shouts during the game about how poor they were)
Some of the players were giving 'im sorry' gestures.
Unlike Crawford who said he was not going to apologise to the fans in his post match interview.

The team don’t need to applaud the fans for coming down to watch that ****!
Get off the park and work hard in training for the game next week.
They were an embarrassment to the club today and it’s down to the coaching/ and formations big time imo.
Absolute dross today!

Of course the players were right to come over at the end - and the fans were also right to react any way that they want. Had they not come over then the reaction on here would be even worse.

The players would have been slaughtered if they hadnt and the fans were justified in their actions, absolutely agree.

The players had to come and thank the fans, but then they need to take on board the feelings of the fans that was expressed to them and take a good look at themselves.
