That's good news, always a concern for a player when this happens.

Hopefully this will be confirmed in the Manager's weekly update on Thursday.

Fingers crossed for Euan Murray likewise.

"Concussions" are very topical so what's the current situation if you are ko'ed, how long are you required to be out for ?

That is a relief.

I hope the news of Euan is equally good.

Looks like my source was wrong. Up on official site that he’s out for a few weeks. Sorry for passing on wrong information regarding his availability.

The other laddie (sorry I can't remember his name) is very young and inexperienced. Could we not apply for a short term loan as a back up for Gill?

That's a shame for Scully but it's another chance for Cammy Gill to stake a claim for a regular first team start.

He made two mistakes at Tannadice, for which he has held his hand up. Unluckily, they resulted in two goals for United and he hasn't featured since. A couple of clean sheets in the next few games would do wonders for the young goalkeeper's confidence and wouldn't do the Pars any harm either. ☺

All the best Cammy.

Not your average Sunday League player.

I assume you mean Burt?

I think you are still allowed an emergency loan for a goalkeeper as long as there are genuine medical reasons, so we would be allowed cover, yes.

I nominate EEP as our emergency loan we could even try him out in other positions including the managers role then ridicule him on here fairs fair and all that

Come on ye pars ⚽️

Cammy is more than capable and I hope he gets his opportunity again, but are Ben/Burty ready to come in should they be required from the bench, emergency keeper required ?

Is Burt not out on loan in which case he couldn't be recalled until January? Swinton's been the reserve keeper-lucky we kept him for insurance :)

Would agree with getting in a good experienced keeper on emergency loan

If he is out for a month it would be negligent not to get somebody in.

An experienced keeper on loan would want to play, not sit on the bench, which would be a kick in the teeth for Gill.
