Relegation dogfight between 6 clubs, should be interesting for rest of the season

could be 7 points between 3rd and 10th depending on results at the weekend, a bit to go yet but it could be a very crazy end to the season

At this rate we could get to the end of the season and be fighting for a promotion playoff spot and to avoid relegation at the same time.

Mind that four clubs have a game in hand on us, and one has 2 games.

We’re the form horse to get out of this league.......unfortunately.

Just sitting here drenched in my own negativity!

I'm afraid it's been proven time and time again that if you are on a crap run of form in December/January you never win another game ever & automatically get relegated.

Let's just chuck it now.

Some truth in that a poor run can see you very quickly in trouble , the last 3 seasons we have been in the Championship

In 18/19 Qots after 21 games ( our current mark) were 4th they finished 9th and escaped via the play offs

In 17/18 the bottom 3 rarely changed Caley were amonst it and struggling but went on a good run to finish 5th.

In 16/17 Raith led after 3 games, after 20 games they were 5th and ended up relegated via the play offs

Way too tight just now I notice we have a 3 week gap in February ( 1st -22nd) so I'd imagine other teams will play their games in hand in that spell.

2 seasons ago, we were in a poor run of form at the end of January.

Fans were up in arms, relegation beckoned. We then took 24 points from the last 10 games and made the play-offs.

Not saying that's about to happen, just that it can.

I love it when we don't sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna score in every game 'til Christmas,
And every touch is goal la la la, it's goal la la la,

We absolutely shouldn’t chuck it but we need to get the finger out - there is a lot of evidence to suggest that teams on a poor run at this time of the season end up in trouble - dare I say a change of manager or a couple of decent signings (a goalkeeper?) may be a trigger for a positive change.

Regardless of any change from within the club we need to be getting behind the team on Friday night - there is a similar apathy coming from the Dundee support at the moment so this should be a good time to play them.

Personally I don't think that Crawford will sign a new keeper. That would mean that he has to admit the mistake of signing Scully.

Honest answer I haven't seen many.

However I know how football goes sometimes. We'll win soon and maybe go on a wee 3 or 4 game run. It's just how it is with us.

Hopefully with Murray back fit and possibly a few added before the end of the month we'll do enough.
